where the treetops glisten...
what. on. earth. Snow. Are you kidding? So it's more like a sheet of glazed snow coneage. More ice than snow. But it is officially snow. It is making driving impossible. And it is here. In Texas. I didn't think it was possible for snow to fall anyplace I call home. This is new. Apparently I am not a human heat wave. Merry Christmas!

Yay! Snow! I love snow!
Congratulations, Kate! Snow is so exciting! Enjoy it while it lasts! just in time for your Christmas celebrations.
So I don't know you. But it's just like in Alberta! Although it's currently -3 outside, and quite mild. Who knew it would snow in Texas!
Crazy Stephen... For another weather update from weird and wonderful SK, it was 30 below on Monday, -10C today, and supposedly +4C tomorrow! We'll see what happens!
Hey, this is great. An unexpected weather discussion on my blog! Just say 'snow' and the comments come rolling in. Hi, Sylvana, Bonnie and Stephen. :-) Can you believe I have had two 'snow days' off work down here?! I don't think they're really legitimate. It's not that bad out there. But more time to study is a good thing, so if the school district says 'snow day,' I'll take it.
WOW! I wish i got 'snow days' off from work!! Lucky duck!!!
I know! Isn't that weird? You guys up yonder put up with much crazier weather all the time, but we in the south look outside and go "what is that white stuff? Okay, nobody panic. Everybody just STAY INSIDE. Maybe it will go away."
:-)
No snow day today. Must be safe out now.
